The Adab of the True Seeker

The Adab of the True Seeker, known in Arabic as Adab al-Murid al-Sadiq, is a remarkable work authored by Sheikh Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Buzaydi al-Salmani (d. 1813), a prominent disciple of one of the greatest spiritual luminaries of the late eighteenth to nineteenth century, the esteemed gnostic al-‘Arabi ibn Ahmad al-Darqawi (d. 1823). Translated by Mokrane Guezzou, this work presents readers with a profound journey through the heart of Sufism, delving into the core concept of propriety (adab) as the principal beacon of the spiritual path.
